Alfa Romeo Centenary Celebrations

| June 2010 are words that fill the Cuori Sportivi of true Alfisti with nostalgia, pride and hopefully renewed passion.
While some of our brethren are winging off to madre terra, for the Italian celebrations, those of us keeping the South African economy alive and well are certainly not being forgotten or neglected!!
Please pen the following dates in your diaries, and be sure to join us:
Thursday 24th June: What better way to celebrate the centenary, than on the actual day, amoungst some fine Alfa Romeos. Join us at Gary Green Auto for some snacks, and to meet the new brat of the Alfa family: the high performance MiTo (Green Clover) just unveiled here, and guaranteed to bully and upset its class mates!! Never fear, the pub will be there!

NNB: Sunday 27th June: The Franschhoek Motor Museum is celebrating the Centenary too, with a special day event with Alfa Romeos as the stars. Not only will their Alfa Romeos be on display but CARC members have been invited to bring our best cars to display in the circle amongst the museum buildings, to be admired by the public and CAR Magazine! Wines and snacks will be available to exibitors. This promises to be a once off premier event, that you certainly don’t want to miss!!
